Whinberry Gin: Cognac Edition
A berry local to Lancashire, the whinberry takes centre stage in this gin. Steeped in Batch Gin with a minimum of sugar, aged in a former Cognac barrel and bottled at 40% this is not what you’d expect from a typical sloe. Complex, with spicy notes, these flavours balance well with ginger ale, or topped up with prosecco.
Perfect Serve – Whinberry Whizz
- 50ml of Whinberry Gin
- Fever-Tree Ginger Ale
- Lime peel
- Fill a glass with ice, swirl and drain excess water. Add gin, top up with ginger ale and garnish with a slice of lime.
